Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, rendered in the characteristic late Roman style with finely detailed hair beneath the laurel wreath. The portrait displays a strong, idealized imperial effigy with naturalistic modeling of the facial features. The circumferential Latin legend reads CONSTAN-TINVS AVG, divided across the field, with a beaded border encircling the entire design. The die engraving is confident and typical of the Cyzicus mint workshop of the late Constantinian period.
