| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, rendered in the assertive military style characteristic of the Londinium mint. The emperor's effigy is depicted with a laurel wreath crowning the head, over articulated segmented plate armour with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The circumferential legend IMP CONSTANTINVS AVG runs clockwise around the bust, executed in capital Roman lettering with a beaded border encircling the entire field. |

| Reverse description | Constantine I, draped and cuirassed, mounted on horseback proceeding to the left, raising his right hand in a gesture of salutation and holding a reversed spear in his left hand. The composition conveys the imperial adventus motif, celebrating the emperor's ceremonial arrival. Letters appear across the fields flanking the mounted figure. The London mint mark MLL is situated in the exergue, below a ground line, with the divided reverse legend ADVENT-VS AVG N arcing around the upper field. |
