At Jupiter's feet to the left stands an eagle with wings spread, a traditional attribute of the god. The officina numeral III appears in the right field, and the mint mark ANT for Antioch is placed in the exergue. The divided legend IOVI CONSER-VATORI AVGG encircles the scene, invoking Jupiter as protector of the Augusti.
