Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, with finely rendered hair beneath the laurel wreath and short beard visible on the chin. The emperor's strong profile is depicted in the late Roman imperial tradition, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTANTINVS P F AVG, separated by a beaded inner border from the portrait field. The overall style reflects the vigorous, slightly provincial engraving characteristic of the Thessalonica mint in the early Constantinian period.
