Reverse description Two helmeted soldiers stand facing one another, each depicted draped and cuirassed, holding a spear in the outer hand while resting the inner hand upon a grounded shield. Between the two figures, two legionary standards rise prominently, forming the central motif of the composition. The legend is divided across the field in two segments flanking the standards. The officina letter and mintmark CONST appear in the exergue, identifying the mint at Arelatum.
