Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, depicted as Caesar (NOB C). The portrait presents a youthful, clean-shaven effigy with short hair beneath the laurel wreath, rendered in the vigorous Tetrarchic style typical of the Trier mint. The circular Latin legend FL VAL CONSTANTINVS NOB C runs clockwise around the bust from lower left.

Reverse description The Genius of the Roman People (Genius Populi Romani) stands facing left, nude save for a chlamys draped over the left shoulder, wearing a modius (kalathos) on his head. He holds a patera in his extended right hand, from which he pours a libation, and bears a cornucopia in his left arm. The circular legend GENIO POP ROM encircles the type; the officina mark S (prima officina) appears in the left field, and A appears in the right field. The mint mark PTR (Prima Treveri) is inscribed in the exergue.
