Reverse description The deified Constantine I is depicted ascending heavenward in a quadriga, the four-horse chariot galloping to the right in a dynamic composition. The emperor extends his right hand upward toward a divine hand descending from the clouds above, symbolizing his apotheosis and reception into the realm of the gods. This type closely follows established Roman consecratio iconography. The mint mark SMALB appears in the exergue, identifying the second officina of the Alexandria mint.
