Reverse description Central within a laurel wreath is the votive inscription VOT XX in two lines, commemorating Constantine I's twentieth anniversary vows. The wreath is tied at the base and fills the inner field, with a pellet or central dot separating the two lines of text. The surrounding outer legend D N CONSTANTINI MAX AVG runs around the circumference, punctuated by a dot before XX. In the exergue, the mint mark AQP, AQS, or AQT identifies the officina of the Aquileia mint responsible for striking the piece.
