Obverse description Laureate bust of Constantine I facing right, depicted with short, finely striated hair beneath a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon visible behind the neck. The emperor is shown with a draped and cuirassed bust, rendered in the robust, idealized style characteristic of Constantinian coinage. The portrait displays a strong, clean-shaven profile with a pronounced brow and firm jawline. The encircling Latin legend is separated from the portrait by a beaded border. The effigy projects imperial authority consistent with the artistic conventions of the Arelate mint workshops.
