(Translation: Constantine I, pious, successful emperor.)
Reverse description The goddess Roma, draped and helmeted, is depicted seated facing front with head turned to the left, enthroned within a hexastyle temple rendered in architectural detail with columns, entablature, and acroteria surmounted by knobs or Victories. In her right hand Roma holds a globe and in her left hand a long sceptre. The officina letter and mint mark appear in the exergue. The reverse legend CONSERV - VRB SVAE is divided across the field on either side of the temple, proclaiming Constantine as protector of the city of Rome.
