| Obverse lettering | D N FL CONSTANS AVG (Translation: Our Lord Flavius Constans, emperor.) |
| Reverse description | Standing figure of Securitas, draped, depicted frontally with head turned to the right and legs casually crossed, conveying an attitude of ease and confidence befitting the personification of security. She holds a long sceptre upright in her right hand while resting her left elbow upon a tall column to her left. The reverse legend SECVRITAS REIP occupies the outer field, and the exergue contains the Rome mint mark with officina letter and a star between, identifying the specific workshop of production. The composition follows the standard Constantinian-era allegorical reverse type intended to promote imperial stability. |
