Obverse description Right-facing draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Constans I, adorned with a rosette diadem composed of rows of beads with a central floral ornament, rendered in high relief with finely articulated paludamentum folds visible at the shoulder. The imperial effigy is portrayed in the late Constantinian style, with strong facial features and a commanding profile. The circumferential legend reads CONSTAN-S P F AVG, divided by the bust, identifying the emperor as Pious and Blessed Augustus.
