Obverse description Right-facing bust of Emperor Constans I, combining laureate wreath and rosette diadem, with draped paludamentum and cuirass, rendered in the late Roman imperial portrait style characteristic of the Constantinian dynasty. The imperial effigy is depicted with the neck truncation visible at the coin's lower field. The encircling Latin legend reads CONSTAN-S P F AVG, identifying the emperor with the titles Pius Felix Augustus, divided by a central break. The portrait exhibits the shallow, stylised relief typical of mid-fourth-century nummi struck at provincial mints.
