| Obverse description | Right-facing bust of Emperor Constans I, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed, rendered in the late Roman imperial style typical of the Constantinian dynasty. The effigy displays a layered paludamentum over the cuirass, with fine incised detail on the drapery folds. The control letter A appears in the left field behind the bust. The encircling obverse legend reads D N CONSTANS P F AVG, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |
