Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Constans I facing left, holding a globus in the right hand. The imperial diadem is adorned with pearls, and the paludamentum is visible over the cuirass. The obverse legend DN CONSTANS P F AVG runs clockwise around the periphery in Latin capitals, partially visible on the flan. The portrait is rendered in the late Roman provincial style characteristic of the Aquileian mint, with bold, slightly stylised facial features.

Reverse description A helmeted Roman soldier, depicted in three-quarter view striding to the right with head turned back to the left, carries a long spear in his left hand angled upward and to the right. With his outstretched right hand he leads a small bare-headed figure — a barbarian or captive — emerging from a hut or thatched dwelling sheltered beneath a stylised tree bearing elongated, spear-head-shaped leaves with a prominent spinal ridge, a motif emblematic of the FEL TEMP REPARATIO type. The reverse legend FEL TEMP REPARATIO (The restoration of happy times) is inscribed in the field, divided across both sides. The officina letter and mint mark of Aquileia appear in the exergue, followed by a dot.
