| Obverse description | Right-facing pearl-diademed bust of Emperor Constans, rendered draped and cuirassed, with the paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The effigy displays the characteristic late Roman portrait style with a row of pearls forming the diadem across the brow. The cuirass is elaborately rendered with pteryges at the shoulder. The circumferential Latin legend reads D N CONSTA-NS P F AVG, divided on either side of the bust. |
