Obverse lettering AEL FLAC-CILLA AVG
(Translation: Aelia Flaccilla empress.)
Reverse description Standing figure of Victory, draped and facing left, advancing with both arms extended, apparently inscribing a chi-rho monogram on a shield set upon a short column or cippus. The composition reflects the late Roman Christian iconography adopted under Theodosius I, combining traditional Victory imagery with Christian symbolism. The encircling legend SALVS REI-PVBLICAE proclaims the salvation of the state. The mint mark ALEB appears in the exergue, identifying the issue as the product of the second officina of the Alexandria mint.
