An owl, standing to the left with wings closed, occupies the right field as a secondary symbol. The ethnic legend ΤΑΡΑΣ is inscribed below in the exergue area. The composition follows the canonical Tarentine reverse type, with fluid Hellenistic modeling of the figure. |
