Obverse description Diademed head of the city nymph facing left, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with hair swept back beneath a beaded diadem and flowing in long wavy locks behind the neck. A pendant earring is visible at the ear, and the drapery at the truncation suggests a lightly clothed bust. The portrait exhibits the refined, idealized modeling characteristic of Campanian Greek coinage of the late 4th to early 3rd century BC. The field is plain, with no legend on the obverse.
