| Obverse description | Bearded head of Leukippos facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet rendered in fine detail. A cross-torch appears behind the head in the left field. The portrait is executed in the high-relief style characteristic of Metapontine coinage of the mid-fourth century BC, with careful attention to the musculature of the face and the decorative cheek-guards of the helmet. |

| Reverse description | A finely detailed barley ear (grain ear) oriented vertically, with a single leaf curving to the right — the emblematic civic type of Metapontion. To the right of the stalk, the ethnic inscription ΜΕΤΑ appears alongside the secondary letter Η, likely a magistrate's or die-cutter's mark. The naturalistic rendering of the individual grains and awns is characteristic of the accomplished engraving tradition of this mint. |
