In the lower field, a club and a shell rest against the base of the rock, serving as subsidiary symbols. The reverse inscription HPAKΛEIΩN appears in the field, identifying the issuing city, and the composition reflects the mature Lucanite artistic tradition of heroic narrative coinage. |
