Obverse description Head of the nymph Terina facing right, rendered in fine Classical style with elaborately curled and waved hair swept back from the forehead and falling in loose locks onto the neck, adorned with a beaded necklace. The facial features are delicately modeled with a refined profile characteristic of South Italian Greek coinage of the late fifth to mid-fourth century BC. The ethnic legend ΤΕΡΙΝΑΙΩΝ arcs around the upper field, partially framing the portrait.
