| Obverse description | Central field bearing the Arabic regnal year 939 AH in bold Naskh script, positioned in the upper portion of the flan. Below the date, additional Arabic legends fill the field in multiple lines across the irregular flan. The strike is characteristically off-centre and uneven, as typical of hammered Mughal copper coinage of the period. The surface shows heavy blue-green patination consistent with long-term copper oxidation. |
