NGZ — Nationale Geldbearbeitungssysteme — manufactured currency processing machinery, and these test notes were produced for calibration and demonstration purposes, not monetary circulation. Functionally equivalent to what De La Rue or Giesecke & Devrient would call a "specimen for machine testing," the note exists to stress-test counting, sorting, and authentication equipment rather than to transact anything.
Collector interest is real but niche — machine test notes rarely enter the market in quantity, and provenance is often murky.
