Obverse description Central field features the enamelled coat of arms of Neuchâtel — a shield divided vertically into green, white, and red vertical bands with a white cross on the red field — set in high relief against a darkened, textured background. The shield is flanked and surrounded by elaborate acanthus scroll ornaments in silvered relief. The maker's signature KRAMER appears incuse at the lower rim, and the medal is framed by a polished gilt border.

Reverse description Plain, uniformly pebbled or matted silver field with no decorative design. Centrally placed incuse lettering in two lines identifies the maker and place of origin. The surface treatment is intentional and consistent across the entire reverse.
