Reverse description A standing male shooter in full figure raises his hat in salute with his right hand while resting his rifle on his left shoulder, a large flag and a shield bearing the Neuchâtel cantonal arms at his side. To the left in the background, local landmarks including fir trees, a building, and a statue of Daniel JeanRichard are depicted; to the right, the rocky Col des Roches landscape is visible. The engraver's signature HUGUENIN FRÈRES appears in the lower exergue.
