Obverse description Central field bears a three-line Urdu legend in Naskh script enclosed within two horizontal ruled lines, with the name and titles of Nizam Sikander Jah prominently inscribed. Decorative floral or dot ornaments appear at the margins flanking the central panel. The regnal year is incorporated within the legend, consistent with the Fasli calendar dating conventions used by the Hyderabad mint. The overall layout follows the traditional Mughal-derived coin design prevalent in early nineteenth-century Hyderabad coinage.
