| Obverse description | Three lines of bold Nastaliq calligraphy filling the field, divided by two horizontal ruled lines creating three registers. The upper register bears the name and title of the Nizam, the central register contains the royal epithet referencing divine favour, and the lower register bears the regnal year. Decorative pellet ornaments are dispersed in the margins between the inscriptions. The entire design is executed in the characteristic hammered style of Hyderabad State presentation coinage. |
