Obverse description Irregular round flan of electrum with a central design featuring a stylized naturalistic motif — likely a plant, branch, or seed pod — rendered in low relief, surrounded by a ring of raised spherical pellets or globules arranged around the periphery of the flan. The surface displays the characteristic granular texture of archaic hammered electrum coinage. No legend or inscription is present, consistent with the earliest period of Greek coinage. The design is typical of uncertain Ionian mint production from the late 7th to early 6th century BC.
