EuroSouvenir notes occupy an odd corner of notaphily — they look like banknotes, are printed by security printers on banknote-grade paper, but carry no legal tender status anywhere. Oberthur Fiduciaire, one of the handful of French security printers with genuine currency contracts, has produced the entire EuroSouvenir series, lending them production values well above typical souvenir fare.

The Musée Océanographique de Monaco, founded by Prince Albert I in 1910, has been administered by the Institut Océanographique since its opening. Jacques Cousteau served as director for thirty-two years.
