Obverse description Central relief depicting the cloister arcade of the Abbaye de Cadouin with its ornate Gothic arches and twin towers in the background. The upper legend reads 'CLOÎTRE DE CADOUIN' with a secondary inscription 'chemin de st jacques de compostelle' in the field, and the lower exergue bears 'fondée en 1115' flanked by the regional name 'PERIGORD'. The border is decorated with a ring of small circular pellets.
