Reverse description Hammered gold flan with three lines of Persian and Gurmukhi-influenced nasta'liq script occupying the full reverse field. The central legend identifies the auspicious regnal year, below which the mint name 'Patiala' appears, and the lowermost line bears the name of the issuing ruler, Maharaja Rajinder Singh. The inscription is struck in the prevailing Mughal-derived tradition of Sikh princely states, with the legends disposed in horizontal registers across the coin.
