| Obverse description | Hammered gold field bearing a two-line Persian poetic legend in bold Nasta'liq script, separated by a horizontal line dividing the flan. The couplet eulogizes Shahrukh Afshar, proclaiming the renewed glory of the Iranian state and his sovereign title of Sahibqiran. The script is deeply struck and occupies the full surface of the coin, characteristic of late Afsharid hammered coinage. |
