Obverse description Diademed and veiled bust of Arsinoe II facing right, wearing a stephane and a veil draped over the head and shoulders, executed in fine Hellenistic relief. A scepter is visible rising behind the head, its tip appearing above the crown. A control mark in the form of the Greek letter lambda (Λ) is placed in the left field. The entire design is framed by a border of beads.
