| Obverse description | Central field features a finely modelled relief of the Sanssouci palace facade in Potsdam, with arched windows and a domed central section. A circular legend in low relief runs along the upper rim, and the Meissen crossed-swords mark appears in a small oval cartouche at the lower centre. The medallion is bordered by a gilt ring. |
