Reverse description Central device depicts the eternal flame memorial torch atop a raised square pedestal, enclosed by a rectangular fence, with radiating rays emanating from the flame. Fourteen six-pointed stars arc across the upper field. A laurel branch flanks each side of the central device, and the commemorative inscription appears in three lines in the lower field. The legend naming Kennedy and his birth and death years runs along the left and right periphery within a beaded border.
