Reverse description A winged figure of Fame, partially draped, stands atop a trophy of arms comprising cannon, cannonballs, flags, and other military accoutrements, holding aloft a laurel wreath in her outstretched left hand and a long trumpet in her right. A radiant sun in splendour appears in the upper left field. The date 1794 is inscribed in the exergue, and the Latin legend AB ORI-ENTE AD OCCASUM curves around the upper rim.
