Reverse description Four provincial shields of Ireland arranged in a quatrefoil pattern, each labelled with its province name: LEINSTER (top, bearing the harp), ULSTER (left, bearing the Red Hand cross), CONNAUGHT (right, bearing an eagle and arm), and MUNSTER (bottom, bearing two drums). Shamrock sprigs fill the angles between the shields. The circular legend TO COMMEMORATE THE IRISH ARTISANS' EXHIBITION runs around the upper portion, with the date 1885 at the bottom, all within a beaded border.
