Obverse description Central square frame contains a circular medallion with the right-facing bust effigy of King Stanisław Augustus Poniatowski, adapted from a ducal coinage portrait, surrounded by the Latin legend. The cross-shaped composition places four circular medallions at top, left, right, and bottom: the crowned royal monogram S.A.R. at top, the Poniatowski family coat of arms (Ciołek) at bottom, and the dates 1764 and 1795 in circles to the left and right respectively.
