Obverse description Central field displays the coat of arms of the City of Winnipeg, featuring a shield with a locomotive in the upper half and three wheat sheaves below, surmounted by a bison passant as crest. A ribbon scroll beneath the shield bears the city motto, and the dates 1874-1924 appear in the lower field. The legend WINNIPEG JUBILEE arcs along the upper rim, with the maker's name BIRKS inscribed in the lower exergue. A suspension hole is pierced at the top.
