Reverse description A dynamic allegorical scene in high relief depicting Britannia in classical armour, wearing a plumed helmet and bearing a Union Jack shield, brandishing a sword aloft to drive a crouching figure of Corruption from the shore. She is flanked by Justice, holding scales and a caduceus, and by a youthful figure of Mercury at left. Above, a radiant triangle inscribed 'KING / LORDS / COMMONS' emits rays of light. A sailing ship appears in the right background on the sea. The date MDCCCXXXII appears in the exergue, with the engraver's signature 'HALLIDAY F.' below.
