| Obverse description | The obverse features a wreath of laurel and olive branches encircling the field, surmounted by a royal crown at the top. Within the wreath, the seventh stanza of the Wilhelmus, the Dutch national anthem, is inscribed in relief in period calligraphic script. Two small decorative publisher's marks appear at the base of the wreath. |
