Obverse description The central field bears an eight-line inscription in archaic Dutch script (the fifth verse of the Wilhelmus), surrounded by a wreath of laurel branches with leaves and flowers. A royal crown appears at the top of the wreath. Two small decorative stamps are visible at the base of the wreath.
