Obverse description Conjoined busts of Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Victoria facing left in high relief, Elizabeth I in the foreground wearing an Elizabethan ruff collar and pearl necklace, Victoria behind wearing a crown, veil, and drop earring with shamrock sprigs and a royal order badge at her chest. The engraver's signature JOHNSON appears at the lower rim. The legend arcs around the upper field with the dates 1592 and 1892 flanking the busts in the lower field.
