Reverse description A winged angel stands facing with outstretched arms above a conjoined heraldic shield bearing the arms of Great Britain and Saxe-Coburg, surmounted by two crowns and flanked by elaborate floral and foliate garlands with scrollwork. Radiating sunbeams fill the field behind the angel. The date AUGUST 1845 appears in the exergue, framed by oak and laurel branches, with the maker's inscription ALLEN & MOORE along the lower border.
