Obverse description Two crowned busts of Queen Victoria facing each other in relief within oval pearl-bordered medallions: the young effigy at left wearing a crown, and the mature veiled and crowned effigy at right. The dates 1837 and 1887 appear on a ribbon between the medallions, surmounted by a royal crown flanked by thistle and rose sprays, with an open Bible in radiant glory at the base.
