Reverse description Queen Victoria enthroned in high relief beneath a Gothic arch, wearing crown and robes and holding a sceptre, with the dates 1837-87 on a tablet presented by a kneeling figure. She is flanked by Britannia in helmet with shield and trident to her right, a bearded Neptune seated to the far right, and Clio or a muse figure to the left with attendant putti below. The Royal Arms appear on shields to the left background. The engraver's signature A. WYN SC. appears at lower right, the date 20 JUNE 1887 in the exergue, and the legend arcs across the upper field within a beaded border.
