Obverse description Left-facing bust of Queen Victoria, crowned and veiled, wearing robes and a drop earring, in high relief. The engraver's signature 'E.A. ALTMANN MELBOURNE' appears in small lettering below the bust. The circular legend reads 'ADELAIDE JUBILEE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION MDCCCLXXXVII' around the raised rim.
