Reverse description Britannia standing left, helmeted and holding a trident, with a naval vessel and sea in the background to her left. To her right are three circular portrait medallions depicting Victoria's bust at three key dates: 1837 (young, uncrowned), 1840 (as a young queen with Prince Albert), and 1887 (veiled and mature); a lion couchant appears in the lower field. The peripheral legend records the key dates of Victoria's reign, reading BORN 1819, ENTHRONED 1837, and JUBILEE 1887 around the upper arc, and 60TH YEAR OF REIGN 1897 along the lower arc.
