Obverse description Crowned and veiled bust of Queen Victoria facing left, wearing robes and jewellery, with the engraver's signature F. BONGHER F. visible in the lower right field. The surrounding legend reads VICTORIA at top and QUEEN AND EMPRESS at bottom, with the commemorative inscription TO COMMEMORATE THE 60TH YEAR OF HER MAJESTY'S REIGN divided across the field on either side of the effigy. A suspension hole is pierced at the top rim.
